In Search of Birth Parents

If you are searching, I wish you the very best in your quest. Never give up.  I have found my birth mom, two half brothers, and two half sisters.  You need to be prepared for the worst.  Then when the best happens it is a relief.  I knew my Dad and Mothers names.  I called everyone with their last name that I could fine state by state.  My adopted mother told me their names, I really didn't believe she could have known their names, but searched anyway.  The father own the birth certificate is not my Dad, but thank god Richard Sr. and Karley named a son after him, and that is how I found them.

When I first talked to my birth mom on the phone she screamed NO NO NO.  I told her I was sorry I called, and hung up.  It took her about two weeks to finally call me back.  The phone lines was burning with all of them calling each other.  I found my half brother Richard first.  He told me Karley's phone number and that she would deny it.  He was right.  He also said if she would never admit it, he would be happy to take a DNA test to see if we were related.  I thanked him very much.

I first met Crystal in person. It was great we talked and laughed so much alike.  We still talk by phone and email once in a while.  The second person I met was Vicki.  She didn't think I had the right to contact any of them but would met me.  We have never talked since that visit, but hope we will again one day. I have only talked to Richard and David by phone. I need to travel to Washington to meet them.  As both of them would like to meet me too.

Karley and I set up a time and place to meet.  My husband and I drove to Arizona to meet her and her husband, where they own a second home for the weekend.  I thought we had a great visit and even made plans to one day for all of us go on a cruise so we could spend a lot of time together.  We came home talked by email and the next thing I knew, she never wanted to talk to me again, that I had ruined her life.  I hope to hear from her again one day when she is ready to accept the fact, that she gave up child.

All she would tell me about my father is:  His name is Lynn, 5'7", dark black eyes and hair.  I was told they met through a girl name Ann or Anne who was a friend of Karley's in 1954.  He was a construction worker at the time in Oregon about 30 miles from Kennewick, Washington.

Lynn, I am still looking for you.  Karley never told you she was pregnant.   You, met Karley through Ann and her boyfriend, her boyfriend worked with you. You are in your 70's.
